A motorcycle accident resulted in the death of 23-year-old Lenoir City resident Steven M. Rice Sunday, Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) officials reported.

The THP report stated  Rice’s Yamaha, traveling northbound around mile marker 81 on Interstate 75 in Loudon County, overturned, causing him to slide into a guardrail. The report also noted Rice was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
