After a 1-3 start to the season, the Loudon Redskins had started turning things around. The team won back-to-back games for the first time in the season and took to the road Friday to take on a one-win White County team.

The Redskins trailed by one at half time, and a poor second half led to a 27-12 loss at the hands of the Warriors.

Loudon won the coin toss and elected to receive, but after being forced to punt, allowed White County to drive six-plays for a score to take an early 7-0 lead.

In the second quarter the Redskins would respond, scoring on a seven-play drive that ended with a four-yard rush by Tyler Ferguson. Jacob King missed the point after.

The two teams would go back and forth the rest of the half, each turning the ball over on downs once, and Loudon giving a possession away on and interception.

White County had rushed for just 11 yards on 14 carries at the half as the Loudon defense held strong, but after the break the Warriors wasted no time extending their lead.

On the first offensive play of the fourth quarter White County completed a 46-yard pass, setting up a 12-yard touchdown run on the next play.

The Redskins fumbled the ball away on their first play after allowing the touchdown, and White County completed a 21-yard touchdown pass to extend its lead.

Loudon went three and out on the ensuing possession, but Travis Brewer was able to intercept a White County pass to regain possession. The turnover was taken down the field for a Redskins touchdown as Brewer's pass was complete to Tyler Elliott.

The two-point conversion attempt was no good, leaving the score at 21-12 in favor of White County.
Loudon attempted an on-side kick, but the Warriors recovered, turning it into a 12-play drive with five first downs and capped it off with a touchdown. Brewer blocked the point after.

Late in the game, Loudon was able to put together two more strong drives, but each ended with a turnover on downs as White County would come away with the win.

White County totaled 219 yards against the Redskins, only 72 on the ground, and Loudon finished with 264 total yards. However, the Redskins turned the ball over three times while the Warriors gave the ball away just once.

The Redskins return home for their next game when they host the winless Scott Highlanders.
