The Loudon Quarterback Club (LQC) continued its stretch of solid games Saturday at Madisonville, winning three of four games for the second straight week.

Madisonville 8,
LQC Crickets 22
The day got off to a good start as the Loudon Crickets scored 16 in the second quarter as they cruised to a 22-8 win.
Noah Burnette and Gage Henson tallied the second quarter touchdowns for the youngest Redskins as Burnette raced in from 80 yards out and Henson took it in from 35 yards out on the final play of the first half.  Kyle Smallen succeeded with both conversions and Loudon led 16-0 at the half.
Madisonville scored once in the fourth, but that was offset by a 76-yard TD scamper by Noah Burnette to seal Loudon's win.
Burnette finished the day with 156 yards and two TDs on three carries.  He also led the defense with 11 tackles.

Madisonville 0,
LQC Hoppers 22
The day got even better for the LQC in the second game as the Loudon Hoppers shut out Madisonville 22-0.
Mason Small got the scoring started with an 11-yard touchdown run in the first.  Max Melton added the conversion and Loudon led 8-0 after one.
Small scored again in the second, this time on a 63-yard dash.  The conversion failed, leaving Loudon with a 14-0 advantage.
The Tornadoes kept Loudon off the scoreboard in the third, but a 20-yard TD reception from Cameron Baker to Hunter Hicks in the fourth quarter got the scoring going once again in the fourth.  Small succeeded with the conversion again, this time on a pass to Jeremy Wiggins.
Small led the offense with 159 yards on 13 carries, with a pair of scores.  He also led the stout defensive effort with eight tackles and two sacks.

Madisonville 0,
LQC Mustangs 40
The scoring came quickly in the third game of the day as the Loudon Mustangs rolled to a 40-0 win.
The Mustangs posted 24 points in the first period, with Noah Lowe scoring twice – once from 60 yards away and once on a 44-yard run – and Isaiah Lowe scoring once on a 43-yard TD reception from Jacob Crabtree.
Dyllan Russell added the first conversion and Colten Brown added the next two to cap the first quarter scoring.
Russell got a TD of his own in the second, however, as he punched in a 25-yard score.  Brown added the conversion and Loudon led 32-0 at halftime.
The third quarter got off to a bang as well, as Noah Lowe took the half's opening kickoff 75 yards for a touchdown.  Layne Parks added the conversion to seal the win.
Noah Lowe led the offensive charge with 104 yards on two carries.  He also had three scores.  Defensively, Richie Trout recorded five tackles, two sacks and a quarterback hit.

Madisonville 48,
LQC Indians 20
The only blemish on the strong day by Loudon was the final game of the day, in which a strong Madisonville team cruised to a 48-20 win.
Madisonville put up a bunch of points early, as it led 34-0 at the half.  Loudon mounted a bit of a charge in the third quarter, as Macklin Russell dashed in for a 60-yard TD.
Tyler Ferguson recorded a 75-yard TD reception from Travis Brewer and Jack Nichols caught a 63-yard score from Brewer in the third quarter rally as well.  Russell added the lone conversion to round out the Mustangs' scoring.
The Tornadoes posted eight in the third and six in the fourth to secure the win, however.

The LQC will return to Dukes Field Saturday to host the Lenoir City Youth Football Organization.  The first of four games is set to begin at 4 p.m.
