Greenback's wrestling team traveled to William Blount Saturday to take part in the East Tennessee Wrestling Invitational.
The Cherokees finished sixth in the tournament, with four wrestlers receiving medals.
Caleb Arp, Jesse Miller and Donovan Folkner received third place medals and Trey Rader received a fourth place medal.
"Our program has always been strong in the state but has fallen off in the last two years," Greenback coach Ben Ward said. "We are now working hard to make a strong comeback."
Greenback wrestled again at 6 p.m. Friday at Stone Memorial.
