(Last modified: 2013-01-11 22:00:55) The Loudon County Hall of Fame will continue Jan. 31 its tradition of honoring area community members at a dinner and induction ceremony at First Baptist Church in Lenoir City.
Dr. Jerry Punch, commentator and motorsports reporter, will serve as the keynote speaker of the second annual celebration. Each year, eight individuals with ties to Loudon County are inducted into the Hall of Fame. The Class of 2012 includes: Educator - Wayne Miller. Youth Mentor - Lyn Petr. Community Service - Art Spurrier. Military - Bob Franke. Business Leader - Jan Hahn. Public Service - Randy McNally. Visionary - Ted and Frances Wampler. Lifetime Achievement - Charles Harrison. On the night of the dinner and induction ceremony presented by The Good Neighbors Shoppe, the doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for a VIP reception. Dinner will begin at 6 p.m., and the ceremony will follow at 7 p.m. Tickets are $100 ($70 is tax deductible) and tables are $800 ($560 is tax deductible).
