Melba Louise Hyde, 89, Loudon, passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012 at the Loudon Healthcare Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles (Oss) Hyde; great-grandson, Zachary Hyde; parents, Wiley McNabb and Mary Etta Tinnell McNabb; four brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Arthur and Jane Hyde, of Knoxville; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Garry Jenkins, of Loudon; grandchildren, Steve Hyde and wife, Vicki, Lisa Crawford and husband, Curt, Travis Hart and wife, Melinda; great-grandchildren, Josh, Emmanuel, Eric, Kennedy and Ethan; sister, Iva Bryant, of Lenoir City; many nieces and nephews.
The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Loudon. Funeral services followed at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Richard Everett and the Rev. Glenn Gamble officiating.
Family and friends will gather at 10:30 Thursday morning at the funeral home and proceed to Cave Creek Cemetery for graveside services at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Loudon.
