Helen Moats Robinson, 70, of Lenoir City, passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at her home. She formerly attended Highland Park Baptist Church.
Helen was a retired receptionist and worked for several area eye doctors in Knoxville and in Atlanta, where she lived for 25 years. After her retirement she loved being at the beach and working in her flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Gussie Moats; brother, Clifford Moats and former sister-in-law, Jan Moats; sisters-in-law, Katherine Moats and Brenda Murphy and brothers-in-law, Raleigh Brady, James Stiles, Paul Jenkins and Doyle Fowler. Survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles Robinson; daughters, Lisa Winston and husband, Dr. Jerry Winston, and Tanya Risher; former son-in-law, Michael Risher; grandchildren, Johnathon Winston and wife, Jessie, Trent Winston, Brett and Kelly Winston, Summer Smith, Chase Risher and Mason Risher; great grandchildren, Braden and Jackson Winston, Gaia and Ruby Winston; brothers and sister-in-law, John Moats, Harvey and June Moats; sisters and brother-in-law, Ruth Brady, Faye Stiles, Margie Fowler, Betty and Gilbert Williams; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert and Mary Kate Robinson, Rev. Bill and Helen White; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10:30 Monday morning and proceed to the Lakeview Cemetery for graveside services 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
