Alvin Thomas "Tom" Ritchey, 85, Loudon, passed away Monday, Oct. 22, 2012.

Tom was a former employee of Maremont and was of Methodist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Maybell Presley Richey; brothers, Ben and Raymond "Andy" Ritchey; and sister, Margaret Russell.

He is survived by wife of 51 years, Florence Gardner Ritchey; sons, Roger Lee Ritchey and wife Helen, Larry Thomas Ritchey of Loudon; sisters, Mary Rainey and husband Paul of Mt. Julier and Myrtle Ritchey of Loudon; brother and sisters-in-law, Don and Anna Ruth Ritchey and Charlene Ritchey of Loudon; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held 7 p.m. Tuesday at Loudon Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rick Kirkland officiating. Interment was held Wednesday at Loudon County Memorial Gardens.
