Evelyn Arden Shubert, 84, of Lenoir City, passed away Wednesday evening, Oct. 17, 2012.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a retired beauty salon owner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond "Bud" Shubert; parents, Allison and Mattie Chambers Arden; and a sister, Iva Shubert.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Candy and Lamar Waldrop; son and daughter-in-law, Dana and Ginger Shubert; grandchildren, Taphne Jones, Jason Waldrop, Jeff Waldrop, Jennifer Myers and Christopher Shubert; great-grandchildren, Hayley, Micah and Michaela Jones, Amanda Jordan, Chaslyn and Mason Waldrop, Hayden and Keiley Waldrop; two great-great grandchildren, Brantly and Charlie; a sister, Dee Proaps; and several nieces and nephews.

The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services followed at 7 p.m. with grandson, the Rev. Jeff Waldrop, and the Rev. Donny Crass officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 12:30 p.m. Sunday and proceed to Lakeview Cemetery for graveside services and interment at 1 p.m. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
