James Milford Cardwell, 83, Lenoir City passed away Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012.

He was past president of the Pasadena, California Art Council and was a nationally exhibited artist.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jason Cardwell and parents, Arlie and Della Cardwell.

He is survived by his wife of more than 50 years, Lucille Cardwell of Lenoir City; daughter, Jena Cardwell; son, Jerrod Cardwell both of Los Angeles, Calif.; cousins, Mary Lou Daugherty of Oak Ridge and Becky DeArmond of Lenoir City.
