Diana Faye Deaton, 69, Hilham, formerly of Lenoir City, passed away Sept. 22, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Regina Deaton; parents, Wade and Marjorie Scott; brother, Larry Scott.

Diana is survived by her husband of 51 years, Arthur S. Deaton; daughters and sons-in-law, Starlet and Bobby Summitt, Sandra and Lee Trout all of Lenoir City; grandchildren: Talitha Brown, Gabrielle Summitt, Homer Lee Trout III, and Sydni Trout; great-grandchild, Harmony Brown; sister, Carol Tackas of Arizona; brother and sister, Cliff and Mary Ann Deaton of Hilham, along with several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Diana's life was held 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26 at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. The Rev. Micah Nicolaus officiated. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
