John Calvin Boling

John Calvin Boling, 65, of Lenoir City, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 13, 2012 surrounded by his family. John fought a courageous battle with cancer. He was born June 3, 1947 in Brooklyn, N.Y.
John served his country in the United States Navy.

His career over the years had taken him to many parts of the world from Saudi Arabia to Maine. He was an entrepreneur of several businesses in the community of Loudon County. John retired from the Loudon County Highway Department. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Jeanette Boling.

Survived by his loving wife, Sue Boling; son, Jesse C. Boling, of Lenoir City; daughters and son-in-law, Julie Boling Feehan and husband, John, of Auburn, Ala., Jinni Boling Redmond and husband, Wendell, Jill Boling Smith, all of Lenoir City; special son-in-law, Danny Smith; grandchildren, Cole, Brayden, Trenton, Nathaniel, Grant, Elijah, Chesney, Mollie, Clayton, Tyler and Griffin; special sister and brother-in-law, Carrie and Eddie Simpson, sister, Michelle Samples; brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Charlotte Boling, all of Lenoir City; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City.

A celebration of life will follow at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Micah Nicolaus officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:30 Tuesday morning at the funeral home and proceed to Loudon County Memorial Gardens for graveside services at 11 a.m.
