Joseph Lynn Christian, 76, Lenoir City, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 11, 2013, after a brief battle with cancer. He was a member of My Fathers House and lived a life of integrity, passionate about leading others to know Jesus Christ.
Joseph is survived by a loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Joyce Christian; children, Nicolas C. Christian, Jack S. Christian and Kimberly Trentham; grandchildren, Bradley Joseph Christian, Jessica Christian, Shelby Christian and Jordan Christian; great-grandchild, Bryan Anthony Christian; sisters, Jacqueline (Bobby) Littleton and Pricilla (Bill) Jackson; nieces, Kimberly Jackson (Tom) Buchanan, Shelly Littleton (Keith )Sennett; and nephew, Shannon (Denise) Littleton.
He is preceded in death by parents, Oscar and Myrtle Christian; son, Tony Christian; grandson, Brian Christian; and great-granddaughter, Cryshell Christian.
Among his many achievements, Joseph served on the T.L. Lowery Global Foundation Board, Laymans Board for Church of God, many dedicated years of service to Parkwest Church of God in Knoxville and My Fathers House Church in Lenoir City. He traveled extensively with T.L. Lowery Ministries and was minister of stewardship for National Church of God in Washington, D.C. He served as president of the Lenoir City Chapter of Full Gospel Businessmens' Association.
Joseph was also instrumental in organizing the "Fabulous Fifties" Lenoir City graduates reunion.
He also found great joy in his "furry four legged angels" Billie Bob and Koko.

Joseph's dream was to be involved in establishing "The Prayer Room" at My Fathers House Church in Lenoir City. The family would like to request donations be made to My Fathers House Church, to continue his dream, in lieu of flowers.
The family will receive friends at My Fathers House Church, 201 N A St., Lenoir City, TN, from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2013.
