James H. "Tater" Watts, 77, Loudon, passed away suddenly Monday, July 8, 2013. Tater was a retired employee of the U.S. Post Office in Loudon and was a city mail carrier for 39 years.
He was preceded in death by his daughters, Lisa Lane and Rebecca Watts; and parents, Homer and Margaret Giles Watts.
Survivors include wife, Janice McGinnis Watts; daughter, Lynne Watts of Loudon; sons and spouses, Darrell and Terry Watts of Vonore, Jim and Misty Watts of Kingston, Bobby Watts of Loudon; brothers, Boyd Watts and Kate of Madisonville, Gary Watts of Philadelphia; sisters, Barbara and Reed Stricklan of Madisonville, Wanda and Bill Millsaps of Philadelphia, Jane and Ervin Moss of Richmond, Va.; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Loudon Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Cook officiating. Interment will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Loudon County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Loudon Funeral Home. www.loudonfuneralhome.net
