Virginia R. Crass, 96, Lenoir City, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013. She was a member of First Baptist Church and Lenoir City Order of Eastern Star. Virginia was a former employee of Parkwest Medical Center. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Luke DeArmond, Edward Crass and Glenn McCoy; son, David DeArmond; daughter, Mary Ruth Wheeler; sisters, Aileen Williams, Mary Eubanks, Ernestine Gann and Katherine Parris; and brothers, Freeman, Raymond, L.J. and Ted Littlefield.
Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Leroy Humphreys; daughter-in-law, Becky DeArmond; grandchildren, Charles Long Jr. and wife, Colleen, Jon Christopher Long, Rusty Humphreys and wife, Val, Randy Humphreys, Davy DeArmond and wife, Holly, and Christa DeArmond; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family received friends 5-7 p.m. Friday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services followed at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Bill Wilkinson officiating. Family and friends gathered at the funeral home by 10:30 a.m. Saturday and proceeded to Lakeview Cemetery for 11 a.m. graveside services with Dr. Dick DeMerchant officiating.
