Reonia Scarbrough Wilcox, 86, Lenoir City, passed away Monday evening, June 3, 2013. She was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church and the Senior Women’s Sunday school class. Reonia was an avid quilter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wilcox; parents, James
Lee and Ella Scarbrough; sisters, Reecie French, Roma Rollins, Ruby Copeland and Ruth Collins; brothers, Roger, Raymond and Richard Scarbrough.
She is survived by her son, Steve Wilcox of Knoxville; daughters, Elizabeth Sims of Knoxville, Joyce Jones and husband, Larry, of Talbott; grandson, Paul Clinton Wise and wife, Alysha, of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews; and special friends and caretakers, Beverly Spears, Wendy Moore and Faye Bryant.
Funeral services were held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at Highland Park Baptist Church in Lenoir City with the Revs. Eddie Click and Tony Collins officiating. The family received friends following the service. Family and friends will gather at Click Funeral Home by 10:30 Thursday morning and proceed to Lakeview Cemetery for graveside services at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Highland Park Baptist Church Building Fund, 4333 Highway 11 East, Lenoir City, TN 37772 or the Loudon County Animal Shelter, 250 Jamie Drive, Loudon, TN 37774.
