Edward Lee "Chuck" Price, 81, Lenoir City, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013, at his home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. Chuck was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was retired from the upholstery business. He retired from the Loudon County Convenience Center.
He was preceded by his parents, Allen and Ethel Henderson Price and brothers, Clyde and Cotton Price.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruth Bradford Price; son, Mike Price of Lenoir City; daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Clayton Bryant of Knoxville; grandson, Michael Price Jr. and wife, Rachel, who was his special caregiver, of Lenoir City; brother, Jim Price; sister, Odell McPhail, both of Athens; and several nieces and nephews.
The family received friends 5-7 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2013, at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services followed at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Virgil Davis officiating. Family and friends gathered at the funeral home by 1:30 p.m. Tuesday and proceeded to Loudon County Memorial Gardens for 2 p.m. graveside services.
