stranger. Lussie was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Lenoir City.
preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Wayne Williamson; parents, Lusker and Maggie Cornett;
grandson, James Sean Brandon, and step-brother, Leon Webster.
She will be missed by many
friends and loved ones. She leaves her two daughters and sons-in-law, Jeannine and Gary McCollister
of Lenoir City, Lili Ann and Eddie Williams of Knoxville with whom she has made her home for the
last five years; grandchildren, Julie Brandon Bryant of Lenoir City and Ben Williams of West Palm
Beach, Fla., and great-grandchildren, Sam and Micah Bryant; caregivers Lloyd Terry and Nita Murphy.
Friends gathered or met at their convenience Sunday at the Hawkins Chapel, 102 B Street,
Lenoir City. Family and friends gathered at 10,30 a.m. Monday at the Hawkins Chapel and proceeded to
the Lenoir City Cemetery for graveside services at 11 a.m. with Dr. Dick DeMerchant officiating. In
lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Senior Adult Ministry at First Baptist Church in
Lenoir City. Hawkins Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
