Ivarine Scarbrough Liles, 86, of Lenoir City, passed away Saturday evening, March 16, 2013 at Loudon Health Care. Ivarine was born in Loudon County on Sept. 28, 1926, to the late Wilbur H. and Ada Martin (Grubb) Scarbrough. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Sanders Liles Jr.; infant son, David and brothers, Alvin, Fred, Glenn and Doyle Scarbrough.
Ivarine is survived by her son, Gary Liles of Lenoir City and fiancee', Libby Huffaker; two daughters, Sandra Fine and husband, Dan of Lenoir City, Betty Braden and husband, G.L. of Clinton; grandchildren, Adam Fine and wife, Tori of Knoxville, Melissa Presswood and husband, Nathan of Cleveland, Lee Braden of Clinton, Kevin Braden and wife, Nicole of Madisonville and Stephanie Lloyd of Harrison, Ohio and two great-grandchildren, Shelby Lloyd and Alexander Fine.
The family would like to thank everyone at Loudon Health Care for the wonderful care they gave Ivarine during her stay.
The family received friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at Click Funeral Home. Family and friends gathered at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Woodlawn Cemetery for graveside services with the Rev. Glen Gamble officiating. Grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
