James "Jimmy" Seals, 66, of Tolono, Ill., formerly of Lenoir City, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013. Jimmy was born May 27, 1946 in Lenoir City, a son to Herbert and Carolyn Jackson Seals. He was employed at ICC/CNN Railroad for 32 years. Jimmy was a member of First Baptist Church of Tolono and enjoyed playing golf with two hole-in-ones to his credit.
He was preceded in death by his father, stepfather, seven brothers and a sister. Survived by his wife, Joanna Pruitt Seals; mother, Carolyn Scott of Lenoir City; three children, Herbert Seals of Palatine, Ill., Vincent (Bree) Seals of Sullivan, Ill., and Sally (Darrell) Strunkard of Lenoir City; 12 grandchildren; four sisters, Ann (Donnie) Petty of Chattanooga, Linda (James) Wolfenbarger of Lenoir City, Betty (Jack) Decker of Cleveland and Faye (Mike) Rice of Lenoir City; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City with funeral services to follow at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the Loudon Co. Memorial Gardens.
