Vera O. Bivens, 93, Lenoir City, passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was retired from Lenoir City School Cafeterias.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Barney Bivens; son, Larry Bivens; brother and sister-in-law, Charles Long and wife, Mildred; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dora and Ben Blakney, Sue and Frank Stockton, and brother-in-law, George Blakney.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Sherry Bivens, of Lenoir City; grandchildren: Kevin and Jessica Bivens, of Oak Ridge, Doug and Lindsey Bivens, Kelly and Lynn Farmer, all of Indianapolis; three great-grandchildren, Austin, Andrew and Sheridan; daughter-in-law, Patsy Bivens Barker; sister, Mary Blakney, of Lenoir City; many nieces and nephews.

The family received friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services followed at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Donnie Crass officiating.
