Ernest Steve Moore, 71, Lenoir City, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 after a courageous battle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

He retired from Bell South after 32 years of service. Steve was an avid fisherman, loved NASCAR and was a Dale Earnhardt fan. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and son.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest "Boat" Moore.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jan Moore; daughter, Sheila Moore Scarfo of Lenoir City, formerly of Sweetwater; son, Tony Moore of Los Angeles, Calif.; grandchildren, Nicolette, Matthew, Olivia and Elisabeth Scarfo; mother, Dora Woody Moore and sister, Joyce Wilson of Sweetwater.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:30 p.m. Thursday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City with funeral services to follow at 7:30 p.m. Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. Friday in the Paint Rock Cemetery for graveside services with Rev.
