Jessie M. Phillips Pickell Parrish, 96, Lenoir City, passed away Friday, Dec. 28, 2012. She was a member of Second Baptist Church and a former employee of Eastern State Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, parents, four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her daughter, B. Jean Helton of Lenoir City; sons, Robert L. Pickell and wife, Frances of Tipton, Ind., Michael Joe Pickell and wife, Kathy of Lenoir City; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Howard Phillips and wife, Joyce, John Phillips, Roy Phillips and wife, Margaret; sister, Sue Freels and husband, Bill; many nieces and nephews.
The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City.
Funeral services followed at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Ken Phillips officiating. Family and friends will gather at 1 p.m. Sunday in the Lakeview Cemetery graveside services. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City, is in charge of arrangements. www.clickfuneralhome.com
