Enoch Harold Elkins, 80, of Lenoir City, left for heaven with
the angels while his granddaughter Tai sang Amazing Grace at 3:22 a.m. Monday morning, Dec. 10,
2012. Harold was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the Korean War
serving in the United States Marine Corps and a retired truck driver with Purdy Brothers
Trucking.
He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Earl Elkins; in-laws, Earl and Dessie
Rayburn Fox and Anna Mae Glass Fox. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara Fox Elkins;
daughters, Cynthia Sicard, Gail Rohlfs and husband, Kevin, Ines Sue Elkins, Nancy Elkins and Sherry
Mealer Tilley; sons, Kenneth Elkins and wife, Ann, and Tracy Elkins and wife, Ronica, all of Lenoir
City; special son-in-law, Michael Sicard; grandchildren, Charlie Elkins, Lucas and Priscilla Carter,
Leslie (Cory) Elkins, Tai and Carl Banner, Christine (Will) Sicard, Paul Roberts and Patty Packett;
many great grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Callicoat and husband, Bobby, and Pat, all of Ohio;
sisters-in-law, Iris Walden, Becky DeVaney and Dwana Vance; along with many nieces, nephews, great
nieces and great nephews.
Much appreciation to Girling Home Health Care. The family will
receive friends from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Highland Park Baptist Church. Funeral services will
follow at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Eddie Click officiating. Military honors will be conferred by the
Loudon County Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Highland Park
