John Wayne ‘Johnny' Coffman Sr., 55, of Sweetwater, passed
away Monday, Dec. 3, 2012 at his home after a battle with cancer. Johnny was born in Loudon June 27,
1957. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Preceded in death by parents, Brunner and Lou
Roberts Coffman; brothers, Alvin, George and Bobby Coffman.
Johnny was a good mechanic in his
younger years and loved to fish. He could build or fix anything he put his mind to.
Survivors
include wife, Karen of Tellico Plains; daughter and son-in-law, Tamara and Mike Newcomb of Rockford;
son, John Jr. and finace Dori Bilbo of Vonore; stepdaughter and husband, Julie and Davey Clark of
Reesburg, Wisc.; stepson, Nathaniel Hampton of Vonore; half-sisters, Carol Arden and Doris McCulloch
of Lenoir City; four grandchildren; five stepgranchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral
services will be held 7 p.m. Thursday at Loudon Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clarence Hoggs
officiating.
Interment will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Corinth Cemetery. Military honors will
be given by the Loudon County Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Loudon
