George Miles Lynn, 89, Lenoir City. On Wednesday, Nov. 7, we lost our precious earthly father, brother, grandfather and friend. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy. He was married for 59 years, to Edith Melton Lynn, who died in 2002.

He leaves behind his children and spouses, Shelley and Jeff Smith, Bruce E. and Michelle Lynn; grandchildren, Lucas J. Smith and J.R. Lynn; sisters and spouses, Mary Mathis and the late W.A. Mathis, LaNelle Duggan and the late Winston Duggan, Lexie and Cliff Ricks, Ruth and Clarence Williams, the late Wyline Kirkman and her husband, Spencer; brother, Gaylord Lynn along with several nieces and nephews. 

The family received friends from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will followed at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Keith Wilkerson and the Rev. Donny Crass officiating. Burial followed in the Lenoir City Cemetery with full military honors.
