Christine Laudermilk, 86, Lenoir City, passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 at the Baptist Health Care Center. She was a member of Dixie Lee Baptist Church.
Christine was a long time business owner operating Hilltop Variety Store in Lenoir City. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Laudermilk; son, Colin Burkholder; parents, Owen and Myrtle Olive Mooney; brother, A.R. Olive and sister, Lois Rogers.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Phil Overstreet of Knoxville, Edna and Steve Gregg, Anita and Tommy Garmon, all of Lenoir City; sons and daughter-in-law, Garry Burkholder of Washington, Harold Jr. and Teresa Laudermilk of Knoxville; stepson, Terry Laudermilk of Knoxville; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. with Dr. Dick DeMerchant officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10:30 Monday morning and proceed to Lenoir City Cemetery for graveside services at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Glen Gregg officiating.
