Bonnie Cook Miller, 98, Lenoir City, passed away Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 at home. She was born Aug. 19,1914 in Union County, Tenn. Bonnie was of the Baptist faith.
She graduated from Horace Maynard High School in 1934. She was a member of the DAR, Cotillion Club. She worked as an aide in the school system and was a devoted caretaker for her parents, Robert Eli and Naomi Cook Miller, who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by sisters, Ruby Baker, Goldie Miller, Opal Hale, Maude Bartolett, Winnie Cross, Edna Palmar, Wilma Maples, and brothers, Wymer and Dixie Miller.
Surviving her is her brother, Glen Allen (Charlotte) Miller of Grand Junction, Colo.; sister Naomi (Flavius) Barker of Dunlap and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Friday 5-7 p.m. at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12:30 p.m. with the Rev. Eddie Click officiating in the Click Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held at 3 p.m. at Big Barren Cemetery in Union County. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
