Janie Marie Lane, 92, of Lenoir City, passed away Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012. She was a member of Nelson Street Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley Silcox and Maggie Pemberton Silcox Shannon; husband, the Rev. Eugene Lane; and son, Donald Lane.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Lane and wife, Peggy; daughter-in-law, Darlene Lane Harden and husband, Bill; grandchildren, Darryl Lane, Glynis Lane, Debbie Partain and husband, Mike, Jennifer Decker, Ashley Clark and husband, Eric, Nathan Lane and Sierra Slaven; great-grandchildren, Amber Fannin, Allison Fannin and Eddie Shelton, Andrea Miles and husband, David, Brayden Decker, Bailey Decker, Tristan Partain, Zela Lane, Samuel Clark and Cassie Lane; great-great-grandchildren, Exzavier, Zachary and Devonte Shelton.

The family received friends from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hawkins Chapel, 102 B Street, Lenoir City. Family and friends proceeded to Pleasant Grove Cemetery for 2 p.m. graveside services with the Revs. George Seay and Bill Harden officiating.
