Gladys Weatherly Bandy

Gladys Weatherly Bandy, 81, of the Oral Community, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Lenoir City. Gladys was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Bandy; parents, Jessie and Elsie Weatherly; brother, Clarence (Bud) Weatherly; half brothers, Willie and G.G. Weatherly; half sisters, Dee and Lee Weatherly.

She is survived by her children and spouses, Bob and Judy Bandy, James and Darlene Bandy, Mike and Penny Bandy, and Jeanne and Ray Tredway; grandchildren, Gay (Patrick) Duggan, Kenda (Ted) Yates, Alan Bandy, Jason Bandy, Eric (Kim) Bandy, Jason Bandy, Amanda (John) Kimbrell and Tony Tredway; eight great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jane and Jack Selby, Norma and Ron Mikels; brother, Harold Weatherly; sisters-in-law, Jean Weatherly, Sally Maggard, Delsie Simpson and Willie Mae Bandy; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family would like to express a special thanks to Amedisys Hospice for their care.

The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services followed at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Tony Bandy officiating. Family and friends gathered at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Pine Grove Cemetery for graveside services. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements. www.clickfuneralhome.com
