Engagement Form

Wedding Form

           Information and photos for engagements and weddings will be published in News-Herald at no charge as space permits. Please make sure information is clearly printed or typed and all photos are identified. Information we publish includes the name of the couple, their wedding date and number of years married, the names of children, the number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and the time, place and date of an event to honor them.

Engagement announcement and wedding story forms are available at the News-Herald office during regular business hours. Information should be printed or typed, and should be brought to The News-Herald at least one month from the date of the wedding.

ANNIVERSARIES:

Form

           Information and photos for anniversaries of 25 years or more will be published in News-Herald at no charge as space permits. Please make sure information is clearly printed or typed and all photos are identified. Information we publish includes the name of the couple, their wedding date and number of years married, the names of children, the number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and the time, place and date of an event to honor them.

NEW ARRIVALS:

Form

           Information and photos of births will be published in News-Herald at no charge as space permits. Please make sure information is clearly printed or typed and all photos are identified. Only the photo of the child will be used. Information we publish includes the full name of the child, the child's birthdate, birth weight and length, the hospital where the child was born, and the names of parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and siblings. Please include whether the child is a girl or boy. If the last name of parents is different, a form must be signed IN PERSON by the child's father, giving permission for his name to be used. Printed forms are available at the front desk at News-Herald, by mailing a self-addressed, stamped envelope to News-Herald, P.O. Box 310, Lenoir City, TN 37771, or by using the link above.

BIRTHDAYS:

One and Two Year Old Birthday Form

Over 75 Birthday Form

           Photos and information for first and second birthdays will be published in News-Herald at no charge as space permits. Please make sure information is clearly printed or typed and all photos are identified. Only the photo of the child will be used. Information we publish includes the full name and nickname of the child, the child’s birthdate, the names of parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and siblings, and the date of the birthday party if different from the child's birthdate. We will also publish birthday wishes for anyone over 75 years of age as a free service. Information we publish includes the person’s full name, date of their birth, date of their celebration and the number of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Printed forms are available at the front desk at the News-Herald, by mailing a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the News-Herald, P.O. Box 310, Lenoir City, TN 37771, or by using the link above.

PHOTOGRAPHS:

Photograph Submission Form

           Please email photos, saved as a high quality JPEG and including complete information about the subject matter to Elizabeth Trexler Managing Editor, at news@news-herald.net . If submitting printed photos, good quality photographs no larger than 5x7 are preferred and may be in either color or black and white. A name and telephone number should be included on the back of the photograph. Photos will be returned when accompanied by a self-addressed, stamped envelope, or should be picked up within 30 days of publication. All information must be very clearly printed or typed and have your name and a telephone number where you can be reached during regular business hours.
